How do appointment fees work?
The appointment fee you pay will be fully credited toward your dress purchase within 30 days of your initial appointment. This allows you to enjoy a seamless and valuable experience as you make this special choice.
What If I Need to Reschedule or Cancel My Appointment?
If you need to reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule free of charge. However, please note that appointment fees are non-refundable. Should you need to cancel, the fee will not be returned, but we will happily assist you in rescheduling with proper notice. Thank you for your understanding as we work to provide each client with dedicated time and attention.

Charging for appointments ensures that each client receives our undivided attention and access to our bridal stylists’ expertise. Our stylists guide you through an exquisite collection of designer gowns, which are exclusive to Papilio Boutique in Canada.
Additionally, our appointment fee supports our commitment to keeping our sample dresses in pristine condition. To ensure that every dress looks and feels flawless for your try-on, we regularly dry-clean and care for each gown. This attention to detail guarantees that you experience the dresses at their absolute best, helping you make an informed and confident choice.
Do you have all dresses displayed on your website available to try on?
Papilio is both a designer and producer, not just a retail boutique. We currently have over 800 styles in production, created in our European ateliers. Because of this made-to-order model, it isn’t possible — or necessary — for our showroom to physically carry every design as a sample.
Instead, our Toronto boutique features a carefully curated selection of 150–200 showroom samples, chosen to represent a wide range of silhouettes, structures, fabrics, and design details. If a specific style you love isn’t available to try on, our stylists will guide you through similar gowns, fabric swatches, and lookbooks so you can confidently assess fit, feel, and overall aesthetic before placing an order.
This approach allows us to focus on high-quality craftsmanship, premium fabrics, and thoughtful construction, while keeping our pricing accessible and our collections expansive. If you’re hoping to try a particular style or collection, we always recommend contacting us ahead of your appointment to confirm sample availability.
How Many Guests Can I Bring to My Appointment?
Our boutique can comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests in the bridal area and up to 3 guests in the evening fashion area. If you’d like to include more people, we offer virtual options so that friends and family can join remotely and be part of your special experience.
Can I Walk In Without an Appointment?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate walk-ins. To ensure each bride receives a dedicated, personalized experience with a stylist, we operate by appointment only. Please schedule your visit in advance to enjoy our exclusive one-on-one service.
