COVID-19 PROTOCOL

We’re open can’t wait to meet you! Since we need to decrease the number of bookings per day to follow the Public Health Agency of Canada guidance, we ask you to book your appointment if you are truly serious about committing to purchasing your wedding dress at this time. Upon scheduling for your appointment, we will ask you common COVID related questions to ensure you and your guest feel healthy and have not been exposed to any of the symptoms.

We have also implemented new measures to ensure that appointments are as safe as possible for all parties. Please review this Protocol in its entirety prior to your visit.

PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT

Please reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing symptoms, have tested positive in the past 14 days or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive or is experiencing symptoms. We will give you a scheduling priority!

Each room is cleaned and sanitized between every appointment. It includes but is not limited to UV or steam disinfection of gowns between brides, UV and bleach disinfection of surfaces between brides. To ensure that we can do this, please arrive ON TIME and not early as your changeroom will only be ready at the start time outlined in your confirmation email.

Due to the government’s strict capacity guidelines and to practice the 2-meter mandate of social distancing, we can allow ONLY ONE GUEST per bride. Capacity for our bridal area is limited to 4 people at a time, including our staff members and customers. No exceptions. Please do not bring children or anyone who is considered immunocompromised.

You are welcome to use our complimentary WI-FI. Please bring along your own devices to video chat with off-site friends and family via Facetime, Zoom etc..

Alterations appointments will be limited to just the bride and seamstress for the foreseeable future.

UPON ARRIVAL

Forehead temperature screenings are mandatory for all staff, as well as brides and their guests before entering the boutique. No record of these temperatures will be kept.

Hand sanitizer will be provided for all guests.

Brides and guests will be required to wear a mask during the entirety of their time at the salon. Please bring your own mask, or one can be be purchased for $2. If you do not have a mask, you will not be able to keep your appointment, and you will have to reschedule. All masks must cover your entire nose and mouth area.

NO outdoor shoes. If you would be more comfortable with indoor shoes or slippers during the appointment, please feel free to bring your own.

DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT

You will be allowed to browse dresses with your consultant, without touching the hangers. Only the consultant will be allowed to pull the dresses off the rack. We kindly ask your guests to remain seated in their designated area and not be roaming around the shop while the stylist is pulling gowns for you.

All stylists will wear masks and keep a 6-foot distance from brides and guests when possible.

All brides must wear masks in the boutique, even in the changing rooms. We recognize that trying on gowns in a mask is completely weird and new to all of us. For the safety of everyone who comes to our boutique, we ask that you please respect this guideline.

We are all so excited to get back to business as usual, but this Protocol will be strictly enforced to ensure everyone has a safe bridal shopping experience.

We thank you all so much for being understanding! We know this will be a little strange at first; however, we are so excited to share this experience with you all once again. We will be smiling with you the whole way under our masks!

If you have any questions, please email us at info@papilioboutique.ca.

Thank you, and see you soon!
